Ernest W. Loch is the Founder and Owner/President of Abacus Self Storage, which opened for business in May 1999. Since then, Abacus has served thousands of customers in Richmond Hill and surrounding communities. Mr. Loch has been in the real estate business for 50 years and has broad experience in many capacities in the industry. He has been in the self storage industry for over 20 years. In other experience, Mr. Loch is a past President and Director, Toronto Junior Board of Trade; a past President and Director, North York Baseball Association; past Director, Fund Raising, Junior Achievement of Metro Toronto (2 years); and past Director, Junior Achievement of Metro Toronto. He also has been active in one way or another in various other community groups and associations. His other interests include his grandchildren (especially), golf, skiing, and travel.
