Abacus Celebrates 20th-Anniversary With A Massive Giveaway

This year marks the 20th anniversary since Abacus opened for business back in 1999. Abacus has been the premier self-storage facility in the GTA for the last 20 years, supplying our customers with secure, clean and affordable storage. After using the service once, our customers keep returning. Abacus takes pride in customer service and the cleanliness and security of its facilities.

The most important aspect of our business is our relationship with our customers. This is why we focus on our customer service and facility cleanliness. Our goal is to make our customers feel at home when they visit us at Abacus storage. After 20 years of providing a first-class self-storage service to people in Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Markham, North York, Vaughan, and other surrounding areas, we decided to celebrate the relationship with our loyal customers.

To commemorate such a momentous occasion and to demonstrate our appreciation in some way to every loyal customer we have had since opening for business, Abacus created a draw whereby twenty lucky winners would receive either a $100 Visa gift card or an Abacus credit for an equal amount. Any customer with a storage unit in our facility as of May 31st, 2019 was eligible. The draw took place on June 2nd and the twenty winners were immediately notified about their prize. Although most birthdays celebrate with cake, Abacus felt gift cards which could be used for any purpose would be more appropriate.

Many of the winners were very pleased with the prize and promptly came into the office to claim it. However, not everyone who won has come in to claim their prize; Abacus is encouraging them to do so as soon as possible. All Abacus customers have access to a list of the winners’ names, which is available upon request in the Abacus office on or before August 31st, 2019.

Since turning 20 years old is such an important milestone, doing only one giveaway didn’t seem like it was enough. Abacus decided the best way to celebrate its customers’ continued patronage throughout the last two decades was with additional giveaways. Abacus continued its birthday celebrations throughout the rest of summer, where for the last two months, two more winners were picked at random each at the end of June and July respectively.

It has been a tremendous and rewarding experience for everyone at Abacus to serve people from Richmond Hill, Thornhill, North York and surrounding areas for the last 20 years. We look forward to seeing you again and to serving you in the future.
